Chocolate Brownie Cookies

Chocolate Brownie Cookies are crunchy on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside, the perfect combination of a dark chocolate cookie and a brownie. If you love chocolate cookies and brownies, these rich, chewy cookies are for you!

Ingredients

  • ½ cup butter
  • 4 1-oz squares semisweet chocolate chopped
  • 3 cups semisweet chocolate chips divided
  • cups flour
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 4 large eggs
  • cups sugar
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  • Combine butter, chocolate, and 1 1/2 cups of chocolate chips in a saucepan.
  • Cook over low heat, stirring constantly until butter and chocolate are melted. LET COOL.
  • Combine flour, baking powder, and salt, set aside.
  • Beat eggs, sugar and vanilla on medium speed with and electric mixer.
  • Gradually add dry ingredients to the egg mixture.
  • Add the COOLED chocolate mixture and beat well.
  • Add chocolate chips and stir.
  • Scoop onto baking sheets 1 inch apart.
  • Bake at 350 for 10 minutes.
  • Cool slightly on the baking sheet, then remove to wire racks to cool.
