These Outrageous Chocolate Chocolate Chip Cookies from Martha Stewart are soft, chewy chocolate cookies that have oozing melted chocolate chips in every bite. They’re outrageously decadently chocolate and would be the perfect addition to any party table!
I first made these amazing chocolate chocolate chip cookies ages ago and they are so easy and delicious that I keep making them over and over again.
This weekend, I plan on taking them to a couple of holiday events and I know they will be a hit—they always disappear instantly and someone always asks me for the recipe.
They’re very easy to make, too, and that’s always a plus. You have to try these cookies! If you love chooclate you’re going to be over the top happy with the double dose of chocolatey goodness.

How to Make Outrageous Chocolate Chocolate Chip Cookies
Place chopped chocolate and butter in a small bowl over boiling water on the stove.
Heat chocolate until smooth.
In another bowl mix flour, salt, and baking powder.
In a mixing bowl beat the eggs, brown sugar, and vanilla extract on high speed until light and fluffy. Reduce speed to low and beat in melted chocolate.
Stir in flour mixture until just combined.
Add chocolate chips.
Drop heaping spoonfuls onto baking sheets line with parchment paper.
Bake for 12-15 minutes, rotating the baking pans half way through.
Cool on sheets for 10 minutes and then remove to baking rack.
Tips & Variations
Change the chips. Try peanut butter or white chocolate chips instead of chocolate chips or chopped chocolate peppermint candies like Andes mints for a winter seasonal treat.
Make ’em mini. Reduce the size (and the baking time) for bite-sized treats.
Pack and go. This recipe is absolutely ideal for bake sales, holiday parties, and more. Pack them up in a little bag, add a handwritten label, and share them with your friends and family. Don’t forget to print out the recipe, too!
Storage
These cookies stay the freshest when stored in an airtight container in the fridge for a couple of days (if they last that long!). They can also be frozen for up to one month when wrapped in aluminum foil and placed in a freezer-safe airtight container.

Notes
The cookie batter will appear wetter than you might expect but don’t worry, it’s supposed to be! That’s why you have to drop it by the spoonful. Be sure to leave enough room between cookies as they will expand a bit during cooking.
