I love pumpkin bread and I have been known to eat a piece of chocolate of two but never, in all of the years I have made anything with pumpkin, have I combined the two.
I think it is now my favorite way to have pumpkin bread! Try this the next time you are baking up a loaf, and I promise you will not be disappointed.

So easy to throw together with pantry staples
Tender and moist thanks to the pumpkin and oil
Uses all the seasonal flavors that we love – pumpkin, warm spices, and chocolate
Spray pans with non stick spray or grease with oil.
In a large bowl, combine pumpkin, eggs, oil, and water.
In separate bowl combine all dry ingredients.
Gradually add dry mixture to wet. Stir to combine.
Pour mixture into prepared pans.
Bake until toothpick comes out clean.
Cool on wire rack 15 minutes, then remove from pan and cool completely.
Tips & Variations
Switch the chunks. Try white chocolate or regular dark chocolate chips.
Add nuts. Add in some toasted walnuts or pecans.
Storage
Once your pumpkin loaf has cooled to room temperature, it can be stored in the refrigerator for about one week by wrapping it in plastic wrap or by placing in an airtight container.
Freeze this loaf by wrapping in plastic and placing in an airtight container for up to 2 months. Remember to let it thaw to room temperature overnight in the fridge before serving.
