Ingredients

  • Heavy whipping cream
  • Sweetened condensed milk
  • Dark cocoa powder
  • Bourbon whiskey
  • Chopped brownies -You can literally use any type of brownies you’d like for this, whether they’re homemade, store-bought, from a bakery, etc. This easy brownie recipe would be a great option.
  • Chocolate fudge sauce – Homemade or store bought works. I like this homemade hot fudge sauce the best.

How to Make No Churn Chocolate Bourbon Brownie Ice Cream

  1. In the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with a whisk attachment whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
  2. Then add the sweetened condensed milk and the cocoa and whip until the mixture is light and fluffy and holds stiff peaks. Gently fold in the brownies and the bourbon.
  3. Line a loaf pan with parchment paper and pour the mixture into the pan, smooth the top and then pour the fudge over the top and swirl. You can add more fudge and brownie pieces at this time as well.
  4. Place the ice cream into the freezer for 6-8 hours but preferably over night.

Tips & Variations

  • Use different brownies. Since this recipe starts with prebaked brownies, this is a great way to add a different flavor profile or texture. Feel free to use any type you like.
  • Try another liqueur. Instead of bourbon, you can experiment with Kahlua, schnapps, or any other time of alcohol you enjoy serving with chocolate.

Storage

No churn ice creams taste best when eaten within about a week. Be sure to keep it tightly covered or wrapped with plastic wrap to keep it fresh. For the best texture, let it rest on the counter for 5-15 minutes before serving.

  • 5 Tbsp. Bourbon whisky
