Ingredients

How to Make Mast Brothers Classic Hot Cocoa

This recipe is originally from the Mast Brothers Chocolate: A Family Cookbook.

In a medium saucepan combine milk, cocoa powder, sugar and vanilla.
Bring to a boil, stirrng frequently.
Shave chocolate over each mug or add a toasted marshmallow.

Tips & Variations

Garnish. Add a spoonful of sweetened whipped cream, a sprinkle of cinnamon, or crushed peppermint candies.
Change the flavor. Try adding your favorite extract, like peppermint, almond, or orange.
Make it boozy. Try a splash of rum, bourbon, or whiskey to strengthen it.
